Houston, Texas. September 29, 2008. TransTex Gas Services, LP (TransTex) announces the acquisition of Time Technical Services, LLC (Time). Time is a provider of natural gas treating equipment along with related maintenance services operating principally in South and East Texas. TransTex CEO Greg Sargent comments: “This acquisition compliments TransTex’s overall strategy by expanding our gas treating capabilities. Time’s units are not in the same size range as TransTex’s units; therefore, we will be able to offer a wider range of plants to our customers”. TransTex provides natural gas treating and processing equipment on a lease basis to midstream and upstream customers nationwide. The personnel of TransTex have many years of experience in all areas of natural gas treating and processing; including equipment installation with startup support and training, turnkey installation, management, maintenance, and general fleet services. Lease and Sale of Amine Treating Plants:  TransTex strives to have a stock of amine treating plants available for our customers at all times. We are constantly in the process of refurbishing amine plants to have them available for immediate delivery. TransTex currently has several amine plants leased to a wide variety of customers including small independents as well as large, publicly traded companies.

Lease and Sale of Gas Processing Plants and Production Equipment:  TransTex has several different sized JT and refrigeration plants available. We also offer a variety of production equipment including separators, filter/separators, dehydration units and many others. Please contact us to discuss your specific volume and needs. 

Turnkey Installation:  TransTex has the engineering and construction management capabilities to turnkey install amine, processing, production equipment and compression facilities.  With our Onstaff Process and Mechanical Engineers, as well as, our close alliance with several engineering and design companies, TransTex can supply a total turnkey installation of our equipment or your equipment. Operations:  TransTex has a staff experienced in the operation of amine, processing, production equipment and compression equipment and facilities.  TransTex can operate customer owned equipment as well as TransTex leased equipment.   

Midstream Services:  TransTex has the ability to operate and/or install any gas gathering facilities you may need.  TransTex’s staff, in conjunction with our Alliance partners, has the ability to complete all engineering and design needed as well as oversee all field construction.  TransTex will be able to operate these facilities along with the associated above group production facilities.  

Startup and Commissioning:  After Installation, TransTex will stay on the jobsite to insure the plant is commissioned properly and Start Up runs smoothly, safely and correctly, limiting the chances for accidents, releases or spills.   

Third Party Troubleshooting and Service Work:  TransTex will come to customer owned equipment, evaluate the equipment and suggest and implement the changes needed to insure that the plant will operate as efficiently as possible based on the current conditions.  TransTex has already performed a wide range of third party work including the revamp of customer owned equipment as well as Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) inspections and reviews.
