J. Greg Sargent is CEO of TransTex Gas Services, LP. Mr Sargent has been involved in some form of the Natural Gas Business for the past 22 years. In the early 90’s, Mr. Sargent helped build a small midstream company with only a few miles of pipeline to a major West and South Texas gathering company with several different processing and treating facilities. From 1996 to 2006, Mr. Sargent helped Hanover in the International arena by heading the Turnkey group which installed numerous compressor, processing and treating facilities in South America and the rest of the world. Mr. Sargent also created the amine treating group and built the fleet up from one plant to become the largest amine treating fleet in the US. In 2003, Mr. Sargent then took over the entire manufacturing operations including engineering, fabrication, supply chain management and quality control and implemented Hanover’s first cost reduction program with a management operating system. Mr. Sargent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University.

J. W. Brown is currently the General Partner of Premier Capital, Ltd., which he formed in 1989.  For the past fifteen years, Mr. Brown has been actively involved in capital formation and related investment banking and financial advisory services for independents in the energy industry.  During this period, Mr. Brown has been directly involved in more than 35 transactions and total capital assembly exceeding $300 million.  Prior to founding Premier, Mr. Brown was founder and principal of Wes-Al Capital Corp., an energy investment banking firm with the late William E. Simon and Alvin Shoemaker.  Previously, Mr. Brown had been engaged directly in the oil and gas business in private companies which he formed and managed and, prior to that time, in the private practice of law.  Mr. Brown holds Bachelor of Science, Juris Doctor and Master of Laws degrees from Southern Methodist University.

Ronald L. Fancher, since 1995 has provided interim executive management, project management, investment management, financial advisory services and general consulting services to businesses in Texas and other states. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Fancher was a senior executive of Atmos Energy Corporation (ATO – NYSE) in Dallas, ultimately serving as President & CEO. From 1983 to 1993 he served as an outside member of the Board of Directors of Atmos. From 1983 to 1993 Mr. Fancher was with the Texas Commerce Bankshares group, ultimately serving simultaneously as Chairman & CEO of Texas Commerce Bank - Odessa and Texas Commerce Bank - Lubbock. From 1965 to 1993, Mr. Fancher served in various commercial banking positions of increasing authority, initially with the First National Bank of Lubbock, Texas, then with the First National Bank of Abilene, Texas. Mr. Fancher holds a BBA degree in Marketing from West Texas State University, Canyon, Texas.

Wes Whatley is the Project/Process Engineer for TransTex Gas Services, LP.  Before coming to TransTex, Mr. Whatley spent the previous four years working for UOP.  From 2002 to 2003, Mr. Whatley was a Development Engineer in UOP’s Petrochemicals Development group, mainly focusing on the Parex ADS-37 Project which involved the improved design of the adsorbent used in the selective extraction of para-xylene.  From 2003 until recently, Mr. Whatley worked as a Chief Technical Advisor for UOP’s Field Operating Services specializing in new unit startups, revamps, troubleshooting, optimizations, and turnarounds.  Mr. Whatley logged 30 assignments in 19 different countries during this time span, focusing on aromatics (para-xylene) production, hydroprocessing, gasoline octane upgrading, ultra low sulfur diesel upgrading, hydrocracking, & detergents (linear alkyl-benzene) production.  Mr. Whatley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University-College Station.  During that time, Mr. Whatley was recognized as the Student Engineer of the Year by the Nueces County Society of Professional Engineers. 

Barry Harwell is responsible for the sales of TransTex services and its marketing activities. Mr. Harwell’s professional history has most recently focused on the sales and service of pipeline and production treating chemicals. Mr. Harwell is highly knowledgeable of the effects H2S, CO2 and solids have on pipelines and understands the need for up front treating. Mr. Harwell has been responsible for the business development of oil and gas treating chemicals with an emphasis on the offshore market. He has implemented total chemical treatment programs, including lubricants and gas conditioning products, all the while reducing chemical costs and increasing sales by 35%. Before his interests and expertise in sales, Mr. Harwell was involved in the oil and gas commercial diving and sub sea construction, inspections and installation industry for production platforms and pipelines, including maintenance from startup to plug and abandonment. He holds several certifications, including an NDT certification for subsea inspection and Petroleum Education Council. Mr. Harwell is associated with the National Association of Corrosion Engineers and has studied Business Management at the University of Houston.  

Sonja Cantu is the Office Manager at the Houston headquarters of TransTex Gas Services, LP.  Mrs. Cantu has been an executive level administrative assistant in several industries for the past 10 years, including computer technology, insurance brokerage and most recently, oil & gas.  In her various roles Mrs. Cantu has coordinated all office logistics during set up and moves, been responsible for the day to day oral and written communications with Board of Directors, company investors, and provided all executive support for public information including quarterly and yearly financial statements and press releases.  In late 2005 she began studying for the CPS/CAP exams.  She expects her certification in August, 2008.  Mrs. Cantu holds an Executive Secretary Certificate from the Bradford School of Business.
